LaTeX document structure |
| A LaTeX file has two main parts: document setup and document data as shown in the figure below. The document setup block begins with the keyword \documentclass and includes commands to setup the whole document. The document data begins with the keyword \begin{document} and ends with the keyword \end{document}. Un archivo de LaTeX tiene dos partes principales: document setup y document data como se muestra en la figura de abajo. El bloque de document setup comienza la palabra clave \documentclass e incluye los comando para configurar todo el documento. TexLab Project |
| A TexLab project is stored in a folder that contains a set of file for the creation of a document. The folder name is the same as the project name. Inside the folder there is a *.txa file that stores the project configuration; you may click this file to open the project. Un proyecto de TexLab es almacenado en una carpeta que contiene un conjunto de archivos para la creación del documento. El nombre de la carpeta es el mismo que el nombre del proyecto. Dentro de la carpeta hay un archivo *.txa que almacena la configuración del proyecto; usted puede hacer clic en este archivo para abrir el proyecto. |
Project Structure |
A TexLab project is composed of several pieces called nodes. Each node represents a complete part of the document such as: an equation, a table, a figure, etc. When all nodes are put together, then it is possible to create a *.tex file and therefore a PDF of the whole document. To insert a node, you can click on  Insert.Una projecto de TexLab está compuesto de varias piezas llamadas nodos. Cada nodo representa una parte completa del documento tal como: una ecuación, una tabla, una figura, etc. Cuando todas los nodos se colocan juntas, entonces es posible crear un *.tex file y por lo tanto un PDF de todo el documento. The Full Document Node |
| The first node in a TexLab project is called the Full Document Node. When this node is selected, the *.tex file content is displayed in the left panel at the bottom (the Content Panel); the PDF file is displayed in the right panel. A TexLab project must have one and only one Full Document Node, thus you cannot delete this node. However, you may edit this node by making double click on this node. TexLab inserts \begin{document} after the Full Document Node and it also inserts a \end{document} after the last node in the project. The Full Document Node contains the setup of the whole document. You must double click this node to change: document type, margins, font size, header, etc. You can use this node to add any \usepackage command. El primer node en un proyecto de TexLab es llamada el Nodo de Documento Completo (Full Document). Cuando este nodo es seleccionado, el contenido del archivo *.tex es mostrado en el panel inferior izquierdo (el Panel de Contenido); el archivo PDF es mostrado en el panel de la derecha. Un proyecto de TexLab debe tener uno y solo un Nodo de Documento Completo (Full Document), así usted no puede borrar este nodo. Sin embargo, usted puede editar este nodo haciendo clic doble en este nodo. TexLab inserta \begin{document} después del Nodo de Documento Completo y también inserta un \end{document} después del último nodo del proyecto.
